Career

Sean obtained his Bachelor of Science in Psychology, summa cum laude, at SUNY Brockport in May 1997 and his Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law in June 2000.

During his senior year at Brockport, Sean was given great opportunities to work closely with several Psychology professors while obtaining valuable skills as a teaching and research assistant. Sean was particularly thrilled to work with Dr. Sachio Ashida as a teaching assistant in Conditioning and Learning, and Experimental Psychology.

Sean's work with Dr. David Abwender as a research assistant in Clinical Neuropsychology led to him being credited with authorship of "Qualitative Analysis of Verbal Fluency Output: Review and Comparison of Several Scoring Methods" which was published in "Assessment, Vol. 8 (3), September 2001: 323-338."

At the University at Buffalo School of Law Sean completed a concentration in Finance Transactions.

After clerking for Spann and Civilette during law school, and working as an attorney for Spann and Spann, P.C., Sean is now in Solo Practice. Sean practices mostly Family Law and Criminal Law, but particularly enjoys Personal Injury and Business Entities.
